Clinical Interpretation:
All three tests are within normal limits:
- Tryptase (6.0 ug/L): Normal level rules out systemic mastocytosis and mast cell activation syndrome as causes of the hemarthrosis.
- C1 Esterase Inhibitor (29 mg/dL): Normal serum level suggests hereditary angioedema Type I is unlikely. (Note: Functional C1 Inhibitor testing was ordered as follow-up on 01/16/2026)
- Complement C1q (12.6 mg/dL): Normal level indicates no complement consumption or acquired C1 inhibitor deficiency.
Follow-up: Additional testing (C1 Esterase Inhibitor Functional, repeat Tryptase) was performed on 01/16/2026 - see
01/16/2026 Report.
